Pull Up A Chair

Our little girl is learning and growing so fast! This morning she woke up and decided today is the day she's going to start pulling herself up to sit - at 11 weeks old! :)

It's really amazing to see that she's learning new things everyday, especially big things like this! She's still working on her balance as she keeps flopping forward but I have the impression it's not going to take her long to master that too!

Leaps & Bounds

As the title says, our little Layla is growing up so quickly and is indeed doing so in leaps and bounds!

Layla hates lying down, she wants to be be up and active all the time now, so we decided to put her in her door bouncer so she could get all the exercise she wanted. She loves it! And I love watching her explore how to use her hands and feet all the time. It's hard to believe she's only 9 weeks old!

Some of the new things she's learned to do are:

• Reach out and grab things, usually my hair!
• Put things in her mouth, she loves new textures
• Giggle! 
• Keep her head up for long periods
• Chat - she loves the sound of her voice and tells us big stories throughout the day

It's getting really cold here now so Layla is bundled up every time we go out, she's like a little hot water bottle when she gets out of her buggy I just can't resist snuggling up with her and getting cosy!

Certainly as sweet as honey!

Two Months Old!

And got to celebrate her first Halloween last night. 

Yes I am sadistic, I got her a little fancy dress outfit :)
