Woah, Nelly!

Wow. Well the past few weeks have been a rollercoaster for us! But in a good way.

First we had an amazing holiday in Cape Town with my Dad and his partner, then we got married, when we arrived home we found out we're expecting a little baby girl and now we have a house!

Yep, that's right, we got the house we went to view! :D

This is going to be our first family home! Official move-in date is May 27th. It's fully furnished, 2 bedrooms with a new kitchen and bathroom and a garden for our little Princess to play in during the Summer. The second bedroom is a blank canvas with nothing in it so we can easily convert it into a little nursery, which is a good thing as our nursery furniture set has been ordered and is awaiting a delivery date, so we can set it up the day it's delivered :)

This is our little one's nursery furniture, I can't wait to set it all up! It's suddenly dawning on me that we're actually going to be responsible for another human being...quite a daunting thought, but exciting too!

Next thing on the agenda is some more baby retail therapy with my mother- and sister-in-laws in a couple of weeks, more fun!

Suppose I should also start packing a hospital bag and thinking about my birthing plan too...

16 weeks to go...

  1. Life is a rollercoaster, babe... :-) I hope you guys stay on the high point forever and never come back down again.

The baby furniture looks very nice...love the real wood look, and crayon can be washed off it easily enough when Princess gets to drawing on things :-)

    Love. Always.
    xoxo
